Center for Victims (CV) Offender Jail Release Notification program is our most critical victim service we provide. 

This life-saving program enables crime victims and witnesses to be notified as to the whereabouts of their offender throughout the arrest and criminal justice process.  This information provides victims with peace of mind and the ability to make sure they are safe upon release of the offender.  The app will be available to all clients registered with our Offender Release Notification program for victims whose offenders are under the supervision of the Allegheny County Jail (ACJ).

The launch of this mobile app will provide an extra layer of safety for victims of crime, witnesses and their families and provide immediate information to victims regarding their offender’s release, transfer, or escape.   Push notifications provide real-time information that empower the victim and help to ensure they and others in their lives are safe upon release of the offender from the county jail.
